Strike King Bassmaster High School/ Junior OPEN

WOW what an amazing experience this was.

This past Sunday May 4 several of our teams fished in the Strike King Bassmaster High School/ Junior OPEN on Buggs Island (Kerr Reservoir). With over 250 boats combined, anglers from 22 different states,and the excitement in the air, it was an unforgettable moment for each of them. Everyone had the same goal in mind,put 5 big Bass in the boat in hopes it would be enough to finish in the Top 13 and earn their way to the National Championship.

Despite the early morning storms,if you doubt they had fun just check out the smiles on their faces. This is by far the biggest stage they have had the opportunity to walk across as of yet and it won't be the last time they do. These youth anglers are going places and with the hard work and dedication they put in some of them will one day walk across that Bassmaster Classic stage.

We are super proud of all of our participating teams as they all had a great showing and proved why this team is one of the best in Virginia.
