Lake Anna Elite Anglers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth bass fishing organization serving young anglers in Virginia. Our team gives elementary, middle school, and high school anglers opportunities to learn, compete, build friendships, develop sportsmanship, and experience the outdoors through competitive bass fishing. Whether an angler is just beginning to explore tournament fishing or working toward the next level of competition, Lake Anna Elite Anglers provides a supportive team environment where young people can improve their fishing skills and grow both on and off the water.
Youth Bass Fishing in Virginia
Lake Anna Elite Anglers was founded in 2020 to create more opportunities for young anglers to participate in competitive bass fishing. Today, our team brings together youth anglers, families, volunteer boat captains, and supporters who share a passion for fishing and the outdoors.
Our anglers participate in team tournaments as well as B.A.S.S. Nation of Virginia Youth competition. Team tournaments are generally held on Lake Anna and other Virginia waters, giving our anglers opportunities to develop their skills, learn new techniques, practice teamwork, and experience tournament bass fishing
More Than a Fishing Team
COMPETE
Our anglers have opportunities to participate in monthly team tournaments and B.A.S.S. Nation of Virginia Youth events while developing the skills, preparation, and sportsmanship needed for competitive bass fishing.
LEARN
Young anglers learn from experienced anglers and volunteer boat captains while building their knowledge of bass fishing techniques, tournament preparation, boating, water safety, and responsible fishing.
CONSERVE
Protecting the lakes, rivers, and natural resources that make fishing possible is an important part of our mission. Our anglers participate in conservation and cleanup activities that encourage responsible stewardship of Virginia's waterways.
SERVE
We believe young anglers can make a difference off the water, too. Lake Anna Elite Anglers participates in community service programs and special fishing events that help us share the sport we love with others.
Creating Opportunities for Young Anglers
Lake Anna Elite Anglers welcomes young people who are excited about bass fishing, competition, teamwork, and spending time outdoors.
Our team includes elementary, middle school, and high school anglers supported by parents, families, volunteers, and boat captains.
Together, we create an environment where anglers of different experience levels can learn, improve, compete, and be part of a team.
Our anglers have earned opportunities to compete at state and national levels, but trophies are only part of what makes the program successful. We want every angler to leave the team with greater confidence, stronger fishing skills, respect for the outdoors, and memories they will carry with them long after tournament day.
